to the occasional hiccup), then our nature

We have soft / moderate / hard core programmes,
especially for trekking & cycling
programmes
What about the safety?
Sri Lanka has been a safe place since
9/11, when the Government and LTTE (rebels)
have signed an agreement in finding a
peaceful settlement for the ethnic conflict.
Our excursions are put together taking
careful consideration of our customers'
utmost safety. We always work closely
with the local people of the different
areas and all concerned parties.
What do I have to bring?
Camaras / Books, sunglasses, sunburn
lotions, insect / leech repellent and
personal effects for warm / windy / rainy
conditions.
What type of cloths do I have
to wear?
Light garments and clothes made of cotton
are highly recommended to wear in Sri
Lanka , as the island is very warm. During
the day bright sun may make the dark and
heavy clothes warmer. Light cotton garments
would be the best choice when it comes
to the selection of clothes. Light footwears
in the nature of sandals are also recommended.
It is necessary for all the tourists
to wear decent swimwear to avoid offending
the sensibilities of the fellow holidaymakers.
Nudism is taboo in any part of the island.
What is you staff's experience?
We are a small group of like-minded people
with a real spirit for nature and adventure
travel. With a wealth of knowledge about
our wilderness, and many seasons of operating
adventure and nature excursions, we know
where all the exciting and unusual attractions
are and how to offer you an outstanding
adventure and nature holiday in Sri Lanka
. Our staff gets regular training by the
local and overseas industry experts.

Why sri Lanka for Eco Tourism?
Sri Lanka is a land of massive contrasts.
The topographical, ecological and cultural
diversity in its compact 66,000 sq km
makes it truly ‘a land like no other'
with no end to the nature and adventure
related activities that are possible!
The vast variety of habitats includes
pristine rainforests, highland grasslands,
virgin jungles, mangrove swamps, white
sand beaches and several internationally
important National Parks. Of the 86 species
of mammals that live in the country, pride
of place goes to the majestic elephant
– the second largest terrestrial
animal surviving today.
Other exotic species often seen are the
leopard, the sloth bear, and many varieties
of deer and monkeys. An island-wide prolific
bird life is also sure to satisfy even
the most serious of bird enthusiasts.
